The Waiareka Irrigation Scheme waters over 400ha on eight farms in the Amuri Basin in North Canterbury.
In July 2018 work commenced to install an additional 5km of pipe and a new water storage pond. Inovo was engaged to provide project management services for the procurement and delivery of three separate Contracts - pipe and offtake installation, pump station and storage pond - as part of one overall scheme. Each separate Contract involved a different contractor delivering the programme of works.
Inovo was the Engineer to each Contract and provided quantity surveying services, along with construction surveying services for the design alignment and legal easements.
