- Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage complex schedules, competing priorities, and executive support functions with professionalism and efficiency.
- A trusted and discreet professional who handles confidential information with sound judgement and integrity.
- An excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented and solutions-focused, ensuring reports, meeting papers, and documentation are accurate, polished, and delivered on time.
- Adaptable and collaborative, able to support strategic initiatives, governance processes, and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Committed to continuous improvement, with a focus on streamlining administrative systems, enhancing workflows, and supporting organisational success.
- It is essential you hold either NZ permanent resident or NZ citizenship status.

Key aspects of the role include:
- Preparing resource consent applications for a range of activities, including land use, subdivision, and take and discharge consents across both the North and South Island
- Supporting projects under the Fast‑track Approvals Act
- Assisting with planning advice, statutory assessments, and consent strategies
- Engaging with councils, clients, consultants and other stakeholders
- Contributing to high‑quality written planning reports and assessments
