This innovative mixed-tenure apartment complex in central Christchurch is part of a joint venture by Housing New Zealand to meet increasing demand in the region and create opportunities for affordable housing.
The three story complex was designed with a focus on sustainability and has a Level 6 homestar rating. The 26 60-80m² one- and two-bedroom single level apartments and two-bedroom terraced apartments share a BBQ area and communal vegetable gardens.
Inovo was engaged to provide detailed construction planning on this extremely challenging site which presented access and laydown issues, overcome via carefully programmed tilt panel production and installation.
