Inovo provided strategic planning services for the upgrade of the Roxburgh Community Pool, which aims to provide modern, state of the art facilities for the community.
The concept utilises steel shipping containers to form the main structural elements. The project delivery strategy addressed the objectives of fit for purpose, cost certainty and quality while establishing a structured framework for design, procurement and delivery. A staged engagement approach with clear hold points allowed the Trust to review design intent, scope, cost and quality prior to progressing to the next stage.
Proposed facilities include a 25m swimming pool, shaded 10m learner pool, 5m quadrant beach entry pool, raised seating, paved pool sides, family change areas and ablutions, separate male and female change and ablutions, covered eating area, slide, grassed banks with raised seating, office accommodation and café with deck style seating areas overlooking the pool.
