Inovo is managing the delivery of this six storey development on Tuam Street, Christchurch.
The building consists of ground floor retail with five floors of 1-2 bedroom apartments above, planned to be a mix of private ownership and Kiwibuild. A variety of apartments were designed to suit accessible housing requirements. Two new laneways form part of the new central city layout, promoting pedestrian movement.
A high level of upfront coordination during feasibility and concept design phases has resulted in an efficient design response, with a positive impact on construction complexity and budget. The project was split into two separate consent packages to fast track the construction programme.
Completion is anticipated to occur in Spring 2020.
