This 2008 property stood up well to the Canterbury Earthquake sequence, but required full removal and replacement of the cladding.
Inovo’s assessment team prepared a comprehensive Scope Report detailing the damage observed along with specialist consultant investigations to provide a full picture of what would be required to return the home to its previous state.
The foundation system was found to be within the required construction tolerances, however the significant cracking throughout the plaster cladding was evident. Internal damage reflected the movement the dwelling experienced leading to the removal and replacement of wall and ceiling linings, tiled floor areas and decorative trims before a full cosmetic redecoration.
The homeowner elected to appoint Inovo to continue on the project as their Project Manager, leading the reinstatement process from design drawings, consent application, procurement of a contractor and management of the construction itself.
