This unique blend of retail, residential and dining on the iconic Farmers corner aims to reinvigorate Tauranga’s CBD.
Inovo provided project planning services to the main contractor for this development, which includes 8,000m² of retail over two levels featuring several iconic New Zealand brands; a dining precinct with cafes and restaurants; 322 car parks over five levels; 23 luxury town houses on a podium above the retail level; and 97 high end apartments constructed in two towers.
After contributing to the Early Contractor Involvement tender, Inovo worked closely with Hawkins following Contract Award to work through options for phasing and access to the congested site before developing the complex demolition, staged phasing, detailed construction, and base build residential and retail fit out programmes within an accelerated timeframe. This project also included significant bulk excavation works (a three-level basement) for ground improvement and remediation.
