One of Christchurch’s most iconic buildings has been modernised and aligned with current compliance and building codes.
Inovo provided construction planning and programming for the very complex strengthening and major refurbishment of the Town Hall, working closely with the Main Contractor to develop repair methodologies and monitor construction progress.
The upgrade has enhanced the complex overall, adding functional value for both the patrons and the staff who manage the complex.
Christchurch mayor Lianne Dalziel officially reopened the Town Hall at noon on February 23, 2019, just ahead of the first concert on March 01.
