The redeveloped Burwood Hospital is a world class, award winning and state of the art specialist health facility.
Inovo was engaged as construction planners for the mechanical services sub-contractor to plan and monitor their progress throughout the construction phase of three, three-storey new hospital buildings spanning over 30,000m², catering for 300 inpatients and up to 2,500 outpatients per day.
With an ambitious deadline set by Canterbury District Health Board and buildings containing complex services, careful coordination and planning was required to ensure a successful result. The hospital features the latest advances in aged health, ensuring the highest level of care.
Awards include NZIA Local Branch Award 2017 Winner - Public Architecture; PCNZ Property Industry Awards 2017 - Excellence (Health and Medical Property); NZ Commercial Project Awards 2017 - National Category Winner (Health); BEST Awards 2017 - Gold (Healthcare) and Silver (Built Environment).
