Inovo is providing Master Planning services for the multi-billion infrastructure development programme designed to revitalise the airport over the next decade.
Auckland Airport expects to spend $1.6 billion on upgrades and improvements up to 2026, the first stage in the $5 billion Master Plan response to the additional 20 million passengers forecast to pass through it during the next 20 years.
In addition to the Master Plan, Inovo is providing project planning and programming support services for a number of individual projects, including the Domestic Jet Facility, a new domestic terminal replacing the existing 53-year-old building. Inovo is developing a physical delivery strategy for the Domestic Jet Facility and the associated enabling works, including timelines and construction sequencing; a staged scope definition; risk identification, and management planning for programme delivery.
Inovo is also involved in the airport’s multi-million dollar Northern Network project, which intends to transform the main entranceway into the airport, increase roading capacity and efficiencies and provide critical support for new public transport connections. Inovo provided a comprehensive Development Programme Report including identification of key time constraints and programme risks, development of preferred construction methodologies, sequencing and milestones.
