Following growth in our client base, an exciting opportunity exists for an intermediate/senior surveyor to join our Christchurch-based team. Inovo is currently involved with some of the largest development projects in the South Island, in a variety of fields including irrigation, tourism, commercial, residential and infrastructure for corporate, government and private clients.

This role involves cadastral surveying, multi-lot developments, topographical surveying, project management and engineering design and construction.

Our ideal candidate will be:

An experienced New Zealand licensed Surveyor, Graduate or Technician

  • An experienced New Zealand licensed Surveyor, Graduate or Technician

  • Familiar with Landonline and 12D software

  • An excellent written and oral communicator

  • Able to work independently and organise work programs

  • Proficient with field work techniques for GPS and Total Station

  • Comfortable with the RMA and planning processes

  • Familiar with engineering design and contract management

We are seeking both experienced Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to join our  growing Auckland-based team, supported by our head office in Christchurch and wider team of around 50, working on a number of exciting new projects.

The key focus of the role will be planning and managing the delivery of projects, on time and across a variety of construction types. The ability to establish and maintain effective and efficient planning systems and communicate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors is essential.

Key attributes include:

•    Experience working in the New Zealand construction, infrastructure and property sectors in a project delivery role
•    Building design and construction and/or infrastructure knowledge
•    A working knowledge of the building consent process
•    Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
•    Familiarity with estimates and schedules

Land Surveyor Construction - Contract Role - Christchurch

An exciting opportunity exists for a Land Surveyor to join our Christchurch-based team, working on one of the largest and technically demanding projects in New Zealand.  

This role involves construction set-out and as-built surveys; installation, measure and adjustment of survey control networks; compiling work-as-executed data and drawings; quality assurance reports and drawings; and liaising with site teams and engineers on a daily basis.

Our ideal candidate will be:

  •  An experienced New Zealand licensed Surveyor or Survey Technician with a minimum of three years’ experience, including on large scale construction projects

  • Familiar with 12D model office software

  • Proficient with field work techniques for GPS and Trimble Total Station

  • An excellent written and oral communicator

  • Able to work under pressure to ensure project deliverables are met

  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to high quality outcomes

We are seeking an Junior Project Planner to join our small, dynamic and growing Auckland-based team, supported by our head office in Christchurch and wider team of around 50, working on a number of exciting new projects.

Applicants must have relevant construction planning and programming or project management tertiary qualifications. Ideally, but not essentially, you will have a project planning or project management background and have worked for a project management or construction company.

The key focus of the role will be planning and monitoring the delivery of projects, on time and across a variety of construction types. The ability to establish and maintain effective and efficient planning systems and communicate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors is essential.

Ideal attributes include:

  • Project planning and programming experience using MS Project and Primavera

  • Building and infrastructure design and construction knowledge

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
