An exciting opportunity exists for a Civil Engineer to join our Christchurch-based team.
Our ideal candidate will have;
Relevant tertiary education, e.g. BE Civil, NZCE Engineering Diploma, BSurv or similar
Previous New Zealand based engineering design experience
Experience working on land development and infrastructure projects
Experience with 12d design software
Design skills for Earthworks, 3 Waters and Roading
Comfortable with NZS 3910 contract supervision
The ability to organise work programmes, and work to timeframes
Good oral and written communication
A confident and professional approach

Resource Management Planner Christchurch
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Resource Management Consultant to join Inovo’s team in Christchurch, working on a steady stream of local developments that require resource management input.
The successful candidate will ideally have;
A sound knowledge of the RMA and planning process
At least four years’ post-tertiary work experience
A commercial focus and understand the pragmatism of bringing projects through the regulatory framework
Confidence in conversing with clients
The ability to work independently while communicating well with project teams to convey options for the client
A good understanding of spatial concepts and the ability to read engineering, surveying and architectural plans
Membership or associate membership of the NZIP
The successful candidate will be comfortable playing a lead role in the writing of and application for consent applications for subdivision and land use non-compliances from Local Authorities and multi-unit residential and commercial developments, Earthworks consent applications and Existing Use Rights applications.
It would be advantageous to have experience with plan changes, participation in hearings, and Environment Canterbury consenting such as air discharging, construction storm water discharge and effluent discharge.

Our ideal candidate will have;
3 years of relevant experience in New Zealand working on land development and infrastructure projects
Advanced Autocad skills
A reasonable understanding of 12d design and/or Civil 3D software
Understanding of Local Authority design standards in the Canterbury region
High degree of computer literacy
The ability to organise work programmes, and work to timeframes
Good oral and written communication

Land Surveyor Christchurch
Following growth in our client base, an exciting opportunity exists for an intermediate/senior Land Surveyor to join our Christchurch-based team. This role involves cadastral surveying, multi-lot developments, topographical surveying, project management and engineering design and construction.
Our ideal candidate will be:
An experienced New Zealand Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, Graduate or Technician
Competent with Landonline and 12D software
An excellent written and oral communicator
Able to work independently and organise work programs
Proficient with field work techniques for GPS and Total Station
Comfortable with the RMA and planning processes
Experienced with engineering design and contract management

Project Planner Auckland
We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our small, dynamic and growing Auckland-based team, working on a number of exciting new projects.
Applicants must have relevant construction planning and programming or project management tertiary qualifications and at least five years experience in New Zealand. Ideally, but not essentially, you will have a project planning or project management background and have worked for a project management or construction company.
The key focus of the role will be planning and monitoring the delivery of projects, on time and across a variety of construction types. The ability to establish and maintain effective and efficient planning systems and communicate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors is essential.
Key attributes include;
Project planning and programming experience using MS Project and Primavera
Experience working in the New Zealand commercial construction and property market in a project planning and delivery role
Building and infrastructure design and construction knowledge
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Networking and business development understanding
Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
